Amazingly, we've still not reached end of October, and Bullets have already played half of the games in this season's league programme.
Points total compares well with last year. 24 points this time, compared with only 18 at this stage last year.
We've still to play both games against lowly placed Bacup and Barnoldswick, together with the two holiday fixtures against Congleton.
To balance these, the three teams we have played twice are Glossop and 1874, (both of whom are challenging for promotion), and Runcorn Town, who are unusually in the lower half of the division.
We're in a run of four consecutive league defeats, but hopefully this should come to a quick end on Saturday, when we play our return game with AFC Blackpool, who we beat 4-1 when playing away. And that's followed by the first of our games against Bacup. We ought to win both of these games. And then two away games, against Silsden and Barnoldswick, and hopefully at least three points should be forthcoming from these two. These four games should set us up well, so that we're into the 30s as far as points are concerned even before December starts. And remembering that we were stuck on 31 points last season with only three matches remaining, we should be able to approach December with confidence.

We have this season in the bag aslong as we can collect some point throughout the Christmas and new years period, just need attendances to pick up and we can be a top team in this league.
